You become the main character, Kanjiro, and embark on a quest to discover kanji stolen by monsters by writing kanji, searching for them, and identifying their readings. Discovering kanji allows you to level up and earn coins. You can use these coins at the shop to buy equipment and potions to prepare for battles against monsters. In these battles, the faster you recall the discovered kanji, the greater damage you can inflict. However, if your memorization is incorrect, you will take damage instead. Additionally, the special move "Writing Attack" involves tracing the kanji stroke order sequentially, allowing you to naturally learn the correct stroke order while playing.
